Session Date: 2/11/2016
Location: Torture Chamber climbing area, Foothills of Fort Collins
Meet Josh Seymour! Josh has been in Colorado for roughly three years, spending most of his time in Fort Collins. Though, in the summer of 2014, Josh lived in Durango, CO working on trail maintenance, sparking a strong need to work outdoors. From this experience, he moved on the work for the Larimer County Conservation Corps, and then began work with an independent contractor doing fire mitigation and chainsaw work up in the burned areas surrounding Fort Collins.
Growing up in Minnesota, Josh began playing music with friends, pulling from different styles and ultimately, cultivating his beautiful sound. Heartfelt songs with percussive strumming patterns and strong, dynamic vocals. Josh then moved to Eugene, Oregon, where he spend more time playing music. After extensive travels through Mexico, and parts of Central America, Josh landed in Fort Collins where he helped run Hope Farms. All the while, continuing his musical journey, pulling inspiration from his travels.
With an attitude that always leads to adventure, we thought it only fitting to wake up at 5am and go play music to the sun as it rose over Fort Collins on a (very) brisk winter morning. Enjoy!
